Fittings

BSPP FITTING:  BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) is a straight thread.

 The BSPP thread is the standard thread used on most of the Amflow® Flow Control Valves.      The BSPP fitting combined with the gasket washer allows for an easy leak free connection to the  process tubing.  No tape or adhesive is needed when using a BSPP fitting and gasket washer in a BSPP port.  

NPT FITTING:  The NPT is a national pipe tapered thread.

NPT ADAPTOR:  A NPT Adaptor adapts BSPP to NPT.

These adaptors allow for a easy conversion of the female BSPP port to a female NPT port.  NPT adaptors are supplied upon customer request.

 

MEDIUM PRESSURE CONEAL:  Medium Pressure Coneal is a straight thread 

Ports

PURGE PORTS:

Incorporated into the flow control valve is a purge port that allows the user to direct a high flow stream of chemical across the fixed orifice in order to flush any chemical residue that might accumulate over time.       This feature reduces the necessity of opening the valve and cleaning the jet manually.

Seals

Amflow® Flow Control Valves, Filters and Back Pressure Regulators use FFKM (perfluorelastomer) seals at all dynamic locations.  The use of FFKM as our standard seal allows the end user the maximum flexibility in temperature and chemical compatibility. Static locations use either FFKM or PTFE.

 

 

Industrial Ethernet

Amflow® Electronic Actuators use DHCP, "Dynamic Hosting Configuration Protocol", a method that automatically assigns IP addresses to devices connected to a network without the need to manually configuring everything connected to a computer or server.  Due to the wide variety of computers, networks, servers, routers, and operating systems a DHCP device is highly recommended for a quick and easy communication set-up.  If the end user is manually configuring their network, they should contact their in-house IT department.
