Self-regulating Chemical Injection Valves

Imagine a flow control valve that is completely self regulating, provides simple and accurate flow adjustmentat at any pressure, and features an exceptionally high turndown ratio. Amflow® stopped imagining and created a breakthrough in injection valve technology.

Using our patented Dual Piston technology, Amflow® pressure independent Chemical Injection Valves offer a simple, accurate, and economical approach to flow control designed to replace traditional pump systems. This innovative design features a lower piston to regulate large pressure fluctuations, and an upper floating piston that automatically self-adjusts to mitigate small pressure variations.

The force required to adjust the valve is determined by set internal pressure and not overall system pressure, allowing for a minimal operating torque for flow adjustment. The result is a significant increase in turndown ratio, no scheduled seal replacements, and a wider working range of flow control.

Automated IRCD Valve Flow Control

When coupled with our electronic actuators, Amflow® Chemical Injection Valves can be controlled remotely for automated hands-free operation. Each A2-ACM and A3 electronic valve actuator includes a manual overide handle to easily convert from automated mode to manual operation for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Amflow® Chemical Injection Valves provide accurate, repeatable, and continuous flow rates for high and low pressure applications. Currently installed in chemical injection systems around the world, Amflow® IRCD Valves have been real-world tested to provide more reliable, accurate chemical injection flow control over traditional single pump technology.

Amflow® Advantages over Traditional Chemical Injection Pump Systems:

  • Self regulating design
  • Minimal torque required for flow adjustment at any pressure.
  • Accurate, repeatable and continuous flow over a wide range
  • Rugged design to withstand the environment
  • No scheduled maintenance required
  • Modular, economical design
  • Require less space and reduce total chemical injection system weight
  • Closed, leak-free design for environmental safety
  • Operated by excess inlet pressure
  • Requires only one pump for multiple injection points
  • Hands-free operation after initial start-up and calibration
  • Maintains constant flow regardless of pressure
