AMFLOW® BACK PRESSURE REGULATORS

Amflow® Back Pressure Regulators represent the latest technology in back pressure regulation.  Like Amflow® Flow Control Valves, our back pressure regulators require a low actuation force which allows for easy conversion to automation.  The PR7B and PR7B-HP Back Pressure Regulators are designed for surface regulation and may be combined with any Amflow® Electronic Actuator, while the PR15 is designed for high flow/high pressure use.

 

BACK PRESSURE REGULATOR SELECTIONS

PR7B

The PR7B Back Pressure Regulator is suitable for pressure ranges from 7 bar (100 PSI) up to 414 bar (6,000 PSI).  The standard port configuration is 1/4" BSPP.

There are two (2) pressure configurations for the PR7B;
A.      7 bar (   100 PSI) up to 275 bar (4,000 PSI)
                             B.  275 bar (4,000 PSI) up to 414 bar (6,000 PSI) 

There are three (3) possible flow rate options;
A.  0 -    100 LPH
B.  0 -    500 LPH, or 
C.  0 - 1,000 LPH  

 

 PR7B-HP

 The PR7B-HP Back Pressure Regulator is designed to operate at mid-level pressures.  The        standard port configuration is SF375CX Medium Pressure for use with 3/8" tube.

There are three (3) possible pressure configurations for the PR7B-HP; 
A.      7 bar (   100 PSI) up to 345 bar ( 5,000 PSI), 
B.  345 bar (5,000 PSI) up to 620 bar ( 9,000 PSI), or
                             C.  620 bar (9,000 PSI) up to 827 bar (12,000 PSI)

As with the PR7B there are three (3) possible flow rate options; 
A.  0 -    100 LPH , 
B.  0 -    500 LPH, or 
C.  0 - 1,000 LPH

 

PR15

The PR15 Back Pressure Regulator has the highest flow/high pressure range of the Amflow® Back Pressure Regulators from 1 bar (14.5 PSI) up to 931 bar (13, 500 PSI).  The standard port configuration is SF750CX for use with 3/4" tube.  

There are two (2) standard pressure configurations;
A.    1 bar (  14.5 PSI) up to   69 bar (1,000 PSI), or
B.  69 bar (1,000 PSI) up to 275 bar (4,000 PSI)  

Two (2) additional pressure configurations are available by special order:
C.  275 bar (4,000 PSI) up to 551 bar (  8,000 PSI), or
D.  551 bar (8,000 PSI) up to 931 bar (13,500 PSI) 

The PR15 has five (5) flow rate options:
A.  0-    100 LPH
B.  0-    500 LPH
C.  0- 1,000 LPH
D.  0- 3,000 LPH, or
E.  0- 7,500 LPH
