AMFLOW® ELECTRONIC ACTUATORS

Amflow® Electronic Valve Actuators are ATEX certified for use in hazardous areas and engineered for surface chemical injection flow control applications. All electronic actuators feature low power consumption, high accuracy, repeatability, and the ability to consistently operate under a wide range of conditions. 

All of Amflow® Electronic Valve Actuators have communication capabilities for remote automation control. They are designed to support Industrial Ethernet and various communication modules including: HART/4-20mA, H1 FOUNDATIONTM fieldbus, Modbus RTU/ RS485 or Modbus TCP.

 

ELECTRONIC ACTUATOR SELECTION

 

     A6 Electronic Valve Actuator

The A6 Electronic Valve Actuator replaces the A2-ACM giving the end user more robustiness and easier usage along with less maintenance than the A2-ACM.  It features the same "manual over-ride" handle which allows the operator to disengage the actuator from either the back pressure regulator or flow control valve and operate it manually in the event of loss of signal or other fault in the chemical injection system. This simple handle provides an easily identifiable visual cue as to whether the actuator is in "Manual" or "Automatic" mode.   The A6 regulates all of Amflow's Flow Control Valves and Back Pressure Regulators with the exception of the AM30 Flow Control Valve. 

 

 A2-VACM Electronic Valve Actuator

The A2-VACM Electronic Valve Actuator is a compact, cost effective actuation solution that provides accurate, repeatable chemical injection regulation for the majority of Amflow® Flow Control Valves and Back Pressure Regulators.  The main difference between the A2-VACM and other Amflow actuators is that it is a direct drive actuator without the "manual over-ride" handle.

 

     A3 Electronic Valve Actuator

The A3 Electronic Valve Actuator is similiar to the A2-ACM Electronic Valve Actuator in that it features a "manual over-ride" handle which allows the operator to disengage the actuator from the flow control valve and operate it manually in the event of loss of signal or other fault in the chemical injection system. This simple handle provides an easily identifiable visual cue as to whether the actuator is in "Manual" or "Automatic" mode. Unlike the A2-ACM, the A3 Electronic Valve Actuator has a dual chain pulley system enabling the A3 to provide higher torque to operate the larger, heavier AM30 Flow Control Valve.  This actutor is designed to operate only the AM30 Flow Control Valve.
